The Liaison agency Flanders-Europe (vleva) invites you to the infosession “The employment potentional of personal and household services”.
This event will be held on Friday 22 June from 09:45h until 11:30h at the vleva premises (Kortenberglaan 71, 1000 Brussels).
On 18 April 2012 the European Commission presented her employment package, a set of measures to stimulate employment.
In accompanying document (with public consultation) the European Commission discusses the employment potential of personal and household services.
The outsourcing of these services can lead to many benefits: it can create a better belance between work and private life (household chores, care of elderly and children, etc.), it can create job opportunities for the low-skilled outside the shadow economy, it will improve the quality of care and can raise the participation rate of women in the labour market.
In the light of this public consultation the European Commission will present her working document.
