The Liaison agency Flanders-Europe (vleva) and Essenscia, the multisectoral umbrella organisation that represents the numerous sectors of activities in the field of chemicals and the life sciences, organise an infosession on the challenges of REACH after 5 years of implementation on April 26th in the morning.

The European Commission wil publish its first evaluation report in June 2012; we asked to already throw some light on this matter.

Flanders in Action (ViA) is Flanders’ ambitious project for the future. In 2020, Flanders wants to achieve a leading position among the best performing European regions. Therefore the Government of Flanders, the social partners and the representatives of the civil society signed the Pact 2020, that consists of twenty ambitious objectives with a set of corresponding target figures.

On the 21st of June 2012 the workshop "Flanders in Action and the Europe 2020 Dimension" is organised by the Flemish department for the General Government Policy in cooperation with the Flemish department for Foreign Affairs and the Liaison Agency Flanders-Europe (vleva), with the support of the Flemish minister-president Kris Peeters. The workshop takes place in the Albert Hall, Chausée de Wavre, 649-651, 1040 Brussels.
